This website is a personal portfolio for Jack Devonshire. It does not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics tools. No personal data is intentionally collected, stored, or shared by this site.
When using the custom GPT assistant "JackGPT", any text you input is sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Your IP address and other personal identifiers are not sent to OpenAI, used or stored in any way.
Messages sent to and from JackGPT are logged along with timestamps for the purpose of ensuring the assistant behaves appropriately and doesn’t provide misleading or harmful information — I don’t want it lying about me! These logs are grouped together based on a completely random string that is generated each time you refresh the page.
So to keep it simple, the only data that is ever stored or processed is:
- Text input to JackGPT
- Generated responses from JackGPT
- Timestamps of interactions
- A random piece of text that changes whenever you refresh the page
